3. How do I get started?

You can start by viewing services and filling out the contact form to book a free 15-minute discovery call. Once we’re aligned, we'll discuss your custom quote, timeline, and contract.

4. Can you help me with branding and a book launch?
Absolutely! I offer full brand kits, social templates, and launch graphics to help you show up professionally.

5. Do you use AI in your design or publishing work?

Yes! AI is used as a creative assistant. It helps with brainstorming ideas, streamlining workflows, and generating mockups or mood boards. But it never replaces Dee’s design expertise, artistic voice, or final creative process. Every project is thoughtfully crafted by hand with human intention, custom design, and a whole lot of heart. AI is a powerful tool when used ethically and intentionally, and at Digital Deesigner, it is embraced in that spirit.

6. Do you require a deposit?

Yes. A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to secure your project slot, once the contract is reviewed and signed. The remaining balance is due upon final delivery of final service, then all files are sent to you, digitally!

7. What’s your turnaround time?

Turnaround times vary by project:

  • Book Cover Designs - 7–10 business days

  • Brand Kits - 3 - 7 business days

  • Professional Documents - 3 - 7 business days

  • Digital Designs  - 3 - 7 days

  • Retainer work: first priority and ongoing

Rush options are available for an additional 20% fee of your total contract service for regular clients. Rush is included in monthly service charge for retainer clients.

8. How many revisions do I get?

Most packages include up to 3 revisions. Additional revisions can be added at $20 per round. Retainer client revisions are unlimited.

9. How do retainer services work at Digital Deesigner Publishing?

Retainer clients get VIP treatment! For a flat monthly fee, they receive access to all of Dee’s design services: book covers, branding, social graphics, custom illustrations, you name it. It’s like having your own personal designer on standby. No quotes. No waiting. Just priority access, flexible hours, and consistent creative support from someone who already knows your vision. Perfect for authors and entrepreneurs who need ongoing design work without the stop-and-start.

10. Can I use the designs for commercial purposes?

Absolutely. Once the final payment is made, you have full rights to use the design commercially (except for templates, which remain editable but not resalable as-is). I retain the right to showcase the work in my portfolio unless we agree otherwise in writing.

11. What does the creative process look like when working with Digital Deesigner Publishing?

Once your contract is signed and the deposit is finalized, Dee gets to work. The first step is mood boarding and concepting, where she gathers inspiration and creates a visual preview to align the direction before moving forward. From there, the design development begins. This is where the magic happens. Dee crafts your custom piece based on the approved concept and sends the first draft for your review and feedback. Clients receive up to three rounds of revisions to fine-tune every detail, working closely with Dee to make sure it feels just right. Once approved and final payment is received,  final files are delivered in all the formats you need, along with a final handoff checklist to keep everything smooth and organized. If you need continued support down the road, you can always reach back out for retainer services or one-time add-ons.

12. What if I don’t like the design?

Client satisfaction is a top priority! I work closely with you throughout the process to make sure the vision aligns. If we reach the max revision limit and you're still unhappy, additional edits can be discussed for a $20 fee per additional revision round. However, at Digital Deesigner, the goal is customer satisfaction, and because we conceptualize your vision for approval BEFORE beginning draft rounds, we are confident that additional rounds will be kept to a minimum, if any are needed at all.

13. Do you offer refunds?

All deposits are non-refundable, as they reserve your spot in Dee’s schedule and cover time spent on research and prep work. If a client is genuinely unhappy with the direction of the work, Dee encourages open communication early in the process. Every effort will be made to adjust the design within the agreed revision rounds. Project pauses, partial credits, or alternate solutions may be considered on a case-by-case basis to ensure fairness for both parties!

14. Do you work with clients outside the U.S.?

Yes! All services are offered virtually, so I can work with clients around the globe!

15. What programs do you use?

I primarily design using Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and Canva.
